Just finished my first half
I posted a 1:58:54. I would like to qualify for a full Boston within the next months. Should I try to speed pace up and then add miles or miles and then pace? Thanks!

You first want to make sure you can do the miles. If you speed up your pace and bonk at 20 then it was for nothing. Combine both during the same training affect. Training affect are from 7-14 days depending on the runner. Take one long day a week where you add miles increasing no more than 20% of total weekly mileage. Also take one day where you have a shorter run at a faster pace. Each week you should see the shorter faster pace getting easier and the long run will actually begin to feel better. This is the easiest way to explain this answer without too much detail. Please ask if you would like this more individualized. Good Luck!
